MARKUS PRADA
Aspiring Filmmaker

ABOUT ME
Born and raised in Brampton, Ontario, for my whole life I've had an interest in the arts, but I never knew which art form I appreciated the most. I tried music, which wasn't for me and for a majority of my life I have been interested in the visual arts; drawing, painting, sculpting, etc. I went to Mayfield Secondary School in their visual arts program and realized it wasn't what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I then discovered film, and was accepted into Humber colleges film and television production program and I have since discovered my deep love and passion for filmmaking. The ability to showcase so many brand new stories with complex and interesting characters are the main aspects that catch my eye, there are truly endless possibilities! My specific areas of interest are screenwriting and directing for action/drama features. My history of drawing and painting helps me as a visual story teller, as with all my films I try to make each frame its own painting in a way.
